Currituck Beach Lighthouse - Cat's Meow Wooden Art Collectible

Beautifully made 3/4 inch thick wooden keepsake of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse In North Carolina. This lighthouse was the last major brick light to be built on the Outer Banks. It was lit on December 1, 1875. The tower was left as unpainted brick to distinguish it from the other lighthouses in the region. It was automated in 1939, and today visitors can climb 220 steps up the winding staircase to get a panoramic view of Corolla village and surrounding Currituck Sound.

Dimensions: 3.75" X 7"
